Risograph Postcard Set: Brittany

Lisa Carpagnano is a French illustrator. Born in Nancy, she graduated from the École Estienne in Paris and now lives in Rennes. She likes to create narrative compositions in colored pencil. Her colorful work is strongly influenced by cinema and photography, somewhere between fiction and documentary.

From drawing to virtual sculpture, Anna Tébo has a keen eye for composition. 3D illustrator and graphic designer, she is manual: the long hands extended with painted nails that she represents sign her creations. The characters she creates have dancing bodies made of digital clay, androgynous and colorful. Interested in publishing and typography, she molds letters like bodies, breathing life into the text.

Lucas Le Bihan is a type designer based in Rennes, Brittany. He was trained at the Estienne school in Paris (France). In 2016, he graduated with a master in type design. His memoire and diploma project focussed on designing letters from an engineer’s point of view. He worked with various studios: Raphael Bastide and Large Projects in France, and Nosigner, under the direction of Toshikuki Nakaie, in Japan. In 2015 he joined the Velvetyne collective, who promote, through workshops, publications and type projects, the open source source culture in typography. The same year he launched his own type foundry, Bretagne.

Graduated from the school of fine art in Rennes (France), Romane Poyard is a plastic artist working in Brittany since 2012. She also co-founded a silkscreenprinting collective named « La bonne pioche ». Her work is based on shapes inspired from the urban environment during her trips to create printing illustrations or carpets. Her artistic practice is mainly abstract, a way to use our imagination and our memories through graphic landscapes.
