Featured artists:

Mia Boe is a painter from Brisbane, with Butchulla and Burmese ancestry. The inheritance and 'disinheritance' of both of these cultures focus her work. Mia's paintings respond, sometimes obliquely, to Empire’s deliberate, violent interferences with the cultural heritages of Burma and K’gari (Fraser Island).

Mia's art practice records and recovers Indigenous histories which Australia seeks to deny. This practice of recovery is urgent in contemporary Australia: the patient work of tracing historical trauma and violence can open new perspectives on the reasons for Aboriginal Australians' present suffering.

Helio Press is a side project of illustrator and zine lifer Ashley Ronning. Specialising in illustrative risograph printing and DIY publishing, Helio is dedicated to the art of imbuing paper with the stories and experiences of authors and illustrators. Capturing the fluid and abstract in the act of committing ink to the page. Located in Melbourne’s inner north – three planets from the sun – it’s the home of free range, physical art; hand-stapled by the owner of an expansive collection of inky denim.

G’day, we’re Troppo Print Studio from Coburg in Naarm(Melbourne), Australia. We are an open access screen print studio, working with the community, running workshops and printing artist editions. We are two practicing artists, Sarah Murphy & Matt Feder. We work across printmaking, soft sculpture and installation. Our work can be found over at ~~> processinprogress.co

For this Riso print we got a little political, we decided to collaborate (between Sarah & Matt) to speak about the billionaire(‘s) currently shaping our future. We think it’s important, especially as printmakers to speak up and share our thoughts on contemporary society. Printmaking is the perfect medium for mass production and distribution of ideas.
