Risograph Postcard Set: Nashville

Hi there! My name is Alexandria and I'm an Illustrator and Muralist. I freelance from my studio in Los Angeles while also traveling for on-site mural projects.
Through my journey as a visual artist I found a path specializing in both murals and illustration. I really enjoy painting pieces with people, animals, and plants as a focus and adding in my vivid and surreal twist of style. My true passion with creating is through bringing a vision to life in ways that impact a community, capture parts of the human experience, and tell a story that needs sharing.

I’m an illustrator and muralist based out of Nashville, TN. Before my southern migration, I graduated from RISD’s Illustration Department in 2016. My work is a fantastical fever dream full of wonderfully wonky characters who wiggle their way out of my imagination.

I work in multiple mediums, ranging from photography and drawing to sculpture, but most often, I paint. I believe my work's subjects to all exist within the same alagorical context, with characters exchanging ideas, recipes and curses. I don't know what that story or world is called yet, but I know it takes lots of directions from the American South.

As a designer living and working in the San Francisco area, I combine a DIY ethos with digital and analog methods to deliver high caliber results to clients. The skills I have acquired within freelance illustration design and product design/fabrication have allowed me to work for myself and have enhanced my understanding of social media management, branding, marketing, and strategic thinking.
