Studio Sofa is an independent Italian creative studio founded by designers Lucrezia Cortopassi and Martina Cuonz. Based in Tuscany, the studio specializes in brand identity, art direction, and digital design with a "handcrafted" approach. The name pays homage to their origins as freelancers working from home sofas, reflecting an ethos of accessibility and comfort. They prioritize close, conversational relationships with clients, blending irony and simplicity to create unique visual narratives for both local businesses and international cultural projects.

My name is Maria Chiara and I’m a visual designer, lettering artist and surface pattern designer based in Florence, Italy.
I often describe myself as an old soul: as a matter of fact, I have a strong passion for art history and I take endless inspiration from the past. I’m particularly inspired by Renaissance art, Florentine embroidery, damask patterns, architectural ornaments and by the decorative work of English Arts and Crafts designers, like William Morris and C.F.A. Voysey. As a result my work has a sense of nostalgia with a modern twist.
